The sky's the limit when it comes to designing your perfect outdoor kitchen space however with so many options it can be a challenging project and there are a lot of things to consider. Let us help you take the guesswork out of this process. From beginning to end we can help you with the whole project…the design, materials, appliances, countertops, lighting, storage space and even grills.

Here are some ideas on how to bring inside living out!

If you want an upscale finish for your outdoor kitchen that has a natural look, a stone veneer is the facing option for you. Stone veneer, the most popular facing choice for outdoor kitchens, is incredibly durable and has enduring appeal. There is a wide variety of stone veneer available. You can get stacked or whole stones in a wide array of patterns and earthy hues. Pair it with reclaimed cypress, stainless steel or granite countertops and create an inviting bar where your guest can pull up a stool and enjoy a beverage while you cook. Add a pergola or overhead trellis and Voila! you’ve created a durable, timeless and beautiful living space that everyone will enjoy.

Another tried and true material used for outdoor kitchens is the hearty reclaimed cypress or pine. This wood is known for being insect and rot resistant. The natural weathering only enhances the beauty and character of the grain making it a wise choice. Pair copper countertops to make a perfect bar area. A coastal or rustic look can be achieved using wood.

Stainless steel is another great option and can be used for countertops but can even be used for cabinets. Construct the entire kitchen out of it for a sleek and modern look that will stand up to any environment and makes clean up a breeze.

If your kitchen is covered, repurpose a piece of furniture for a unique one-of-a-kind piece that can be used as a cabinet and counter or add a sink. A wine fridge or even a keg built into the base not only creates a functioning piece but a conversation piece too!

Looking for something more upscale?  Glass tile could take your outdoor space to the next level. Consider concrete, mosaic tile, solid pieces of wood, marble or slate countertops. Take old bottles and create a vintage hanging light fixture or grow your own herb garden for quick access.
